Obligatory Year-End Post

It’s that time of year again, when I encourage all writers to make a handy list of what you’ve had published this year that is eligible for awards. It’s also the time of year when we all reflect back on the year that has been. So here’s the year that has been for me:

  1. Finished grad school.

Don’t laugh.  That’s enough.

Here’s the list of awards-eligible work from 2014, including the stuff that no one should be considering for anything other than the annual “worst of” lists:

  1. “Man of Water” by Kyle Aisteach, short story, published in Fantasy for Good from Nightscape Press, December 2014, edited by Jordan Ellinger and Richard Salter.
  2. “The Case of the Torn Wall: A Colm Ramirez Mystery” by James Ipse, short story, published as a standalone e-book by Lightning Cellar Publications, May 2014.
  3. “The Time Traveler’s Dog” by Kyle Aisteach, short comic, self-published on my blog, January 2014.

Now that grad school is done, I have more time to write.  I’m hoping to be back on the horse in 2015. Wish me luck.

And, happy new year, everyone!
