Out Today: ‘Man of Water’
My first fantasy story, “Man of Water,” was released today in the charity anthology Fantasy for Good. This is the story that was “noticed” by Piers Anthony in his November newsletter, so I hope I’m not alone in thinking that it’s one of my best stories to date. All proceeds from Fantasy for Good go to fighting colon cancer, which claimed the lives of both Jay Lake and Roger Zelazny, both of whom also have reprints in the anthology. Continue reading

Fantasy for Good
The editor of Fantasy for Good has announced the final table of contents. I’d wax poetic about it, but I have a thesis to revise, a comprehensive exam to prep for, and an academic job hunt to conduct in a soft market. Suffice it to say I’m very pleased with what I’ve read of the anthology so far. #SFWApro
